Newsletter - Jan 2026
This is a pretty big update, but we've been busy at Report URI HQ, and we have quite a few things to update you on!
Here are the details of everything that's been happening:
Webhooks in Open Beta
In our last email we were looking for customers to test webhooks, and after some successful testing, they're now in Open Beta! Head to any of our Watch products, like Script Watch or Data Watch, and you will see a new "Alerts" button. Here, you can now configure email alerts and webhook alerts. Please let us know if you have any feedback or feature requests.
Report URI joins the W3C
We've joined the W3C to help shape the future of web security standards, gaining early insight into emerging specifications while collaborating directly with browser vendors and standards authors to ensure new specifications are practical, interoperable, and designed to support real-world security and observability at scale.
Script Watch Updates
Script Watch will now ingest CSP Integrity and Integrity Policy reports alongside your CSP Reports to track JavaScript dependencies. With these features deployed, you can now have total visibility for all JavaScript dependencies running on your site. Reach out if you'd like support enabling these new features.
2025 Penetration Test
As is customary, we have had our annual penetration test conducted and the full penetration test report, along with details on how we've resolved all issues, can now be found in this blog post: Report URI Penetration Test 2025
Upcoming Events
We will be attending PCI London on 21st January (London, England) and NDC Security on 4th-5th March (Oslo, Norway). If you will be at either of those events, please drop by our booth and say hi to the team!
New Case Study Customer
We're proud to support REPAY, a leading payments technology company, with their PCI DSS compliance. You can read the full case study, along with all of our other case studies, on the Case Studies section of our site.
Open Beta Features Are Free To Use
We are still extensively testing CSP Integrity and Integrity Policy at scale and have already seen some amazing adoption. Our testing has helped identify bugs in Chrome and Safari, and we've worked with both vendors to resolve them. These features are still free to use during the Open Beta period and take a matter of seconds to deploy, so reach out if you'd like support deploying them.
We have ambitious plans for 2026, and this is just the start. Alongside ongoing performance and reliability work, our R&D roadmap is shaping up to be one of our most exciting yet. Your feedback continues to play a huge role in what we build, so please keep it coming.
Thanks for being part of the Report URI community. We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead.
Scott Helme,
Founder.
