Newsletter - Feb 2026
After kicking 2026 off with a pretty big update, we've continued to push forwards with a lot of work across the board at Report URI HQ.
February might be a short month, but we've got a lot done!
Report Sampling in Open Beta!!!
This has definitely been our most requested feature over time, and we're excited to announce that report sampling is now in Open Beta! You can now configure report sampling on the Filters page, and you can even configure different sampling rates for different report types. This is a huge step forward in our ability to support customers with high volumes of reports, and we can't wait to see how it performs at scale. Please let us know if you have any feedback or other feature requests.
Upcoming Events
We will be attending NDC Security on 4th-5th March (Oslo, Norway), and CyberUK 21st-23rd April (Glasgow, Scotland). If you will be at either of those events, please drop by our booth and say hi to the team!
Audit Trail now in Open Beta
We silently launched Audit Trail last month, a new feature that allows account administrators to track all changes made across their Teams, including who made the change and when. This is a great feature for organisations to have visibility of changes being made to their Teams, and it is now available to all customers on the Settings page in your account.
Launching the Report URI Blog!
We have now launched our own blog! We will be posting regular updates on the blog, including technical deep dives, product updates, and other news. We have already published a couple of posts, and we have a lot more planned for the future. Be sure to check it out and subscribe to stay up to date with all things Report URI!
New Magecart Case Study
The European Space Agency was recently hit with a Magecart-style attack and we now own the domain the attackers used to exfiltrate stolen credit card data. You can find full details on the Case Studies page or read our post on the new Report URI Blog!
Alerts Threshold for all Watch Products
For all our Watch Products, you can now configure an alerts threshold, specifying how many times a new item must be observed before an alert is triggered for the detection. This is a great way to reduce alert fatigue by avoiding alerts for "one-hit wonders", and we recommend all customers make use of this new feature. Head to the relevant page, like Script Watch, and use the new Alerts button to configure the threshold.
New CSP Integrity Webinar
We've published the recording for our latest webinar, CSP Integrity - An evolution in Client-Side Security, on our Webinars page. It's now freely available to watch so head on over and you can subscribe to get notified about our next webinar too!
Report URI Explainer Video
If you head to our homepage you can see our new explainer video, which gives a quick overview of what Report URI is and how it works. We have had a lot of positive feedback on the video, and we hope it helps to give new visitors a better understanding of our service and how it can help them to improve their security posture.
Behind the scenes
As always, we continue to improve our infrastructure and processes to ensure we can provide the best possible service to our customers. We have made a number of improvements to our core systems that have no visible footprint to our customers, but will help us to continue to deliver a stable and reliable service. I will have a blog post coming in March about some important changes we made to our HA Redis deployment to improve resilience and efficiency, along with an exciting new feature announcement!
I mentioned back in January that our R&D roadmap was shaping up to be one of our most exciting yet, and it's great to start delivering some of the items we have planned. As before, your feedback continues to play a huge role in what we build, and much of what we've announced above is as a result of that feedback, so please keep it coming.
The March update is going to be an exciting one, so stay tuned for that!
Scott Helme,
Founder.
